Think you’ve got what it takes to create the official poster for the 2015 Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival? Show us your stuff! We’re looking for local artists to submit their poster idea for this year’s festival, with a $250 purse to go along with the fame (and VIP passes) the selected artist will receive.
Entry is easy! Create a piece of 2-D artwork in any medium — paints, pencils, markers, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. — that features an appropriately geeky image: think sci-fi, superheroes, fantasy, horror, etc. Submit it using our handy online form, and then the VVCBF planning committee will rate the entries based on concept, originality, layout and marketing adaptability. The selected entry will be used on all posters, fliers and web banners to promote this year’s event. Please check out the full rules and submission guidelines before doing your thing.
Deadline for entry is July 3, 2015 at 6 p.m., so get your pencils, pens or Wacom styluses working! We look forward to seeing what you’ve got.
